Request for Quotation (RFQ)

  1. The Government of Ghana has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Greater Accra Resilient and Integrated Development Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Renovation works at Ghana Hydrological Authority Offices. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing.

The Ministry of Works and Housing now invites sealed Bids from eligible

Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using  Request for Quotation (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” 5th Edition September 2023 (Procurement Regulations), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

  1. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Ministry of Works and Housing, Daniel Kusi, email: Daniel.kusi@mwh.gov.gh and inspect the Bidding documents during office hours (9:00 Hrs GMT-16:00 Hrs GMT) at the address (2) given below.

 

  1. The RFQ documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address (1) below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of GH¢300.00 (Three Hundred Ghana Cedis). The method of payment will be

 

  1. You shall submit one original of the Price Quotation with the Form of Quotation, and clearly marked “Original”. In addition, you shall also submit two copies as marked “Copy.”

 

All submissions shall be accompanied by the following documents:

 

  • Valid SSNIT Clearance Certificate
  • Valid Business Registration Certificate
  • Valid Revenue Authority Certificate (VAT, Tax Clearance)
  • Valid Registration Certificate from Public Procurement Authority
  • Valid Labour Certificate
  • Valid Ministry of Works and Housing Certificate

 

  1. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration,
  2. Bids must be delivered to the address (2) below on or before 10:00 hrs GMT on 1st March, 2024. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address (2) below on 1st March, 2024 at 10:00 HRS GMT.
